The Maine People Powered Movement grew out of Graham Platner's U.S. Senate campaign, not around one candidate, but around a platform: healthcare as a right, affordable housing, an economy that works for people over billionaires, strong worker protections, an end to forever wars, human rights for all, and real climate accountability.

More than 150,000 Mainers voted for that platform on June 9. Thousands of volunteers built the infrastructure behind it. We're not going anywhere — and we're asking Maine's Democratic candidates to carry these values forward, out loud, as their own.

Our open letter, Candidate Pledge, and Candidate Forums are organized entirely by volunteers — no campaign staff, no paid consultants. That's the point. This movement was built by Mainers, for Mainers. It's still running on that same power.
